Getting Here

For those flying from the United States mainland, St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, San Juan, Puerto Rico and Tortola, British Virgin Islands, are ideal airports to fly into. From St. Thomas or Tortola, the only way to get to Jost is by boat. From San Juan, one must first fly to Tortola, the largest of the British Virgin Islands, and from there by ferry to Jost. There is also an additional option of taking a water taxi either from St. Thomas or from Tortola, Jost Van Dyke is a short boat ride away!

We have included ferry schedules and suggestions for water taxis, however it is necessary to confirm departure schedules ahead of traveling.

Once on Jost there is no public transportation, but several taxis, see also a list of car rentals attached. Please be sure if you have hired a taxi to indicate that you must be taken completely up the hill to Evening Star Villas!
